Council President Brossard: Motion to amend 2024-114 made by Councilman Glassburn, seconded by Councilman Limpert. Roll call, please. Councilman Glassburn: Thank you, Mr. President. Council President Brossard: Thank you, and Councilman Madden, Chairman of the Intra -Governmental Relations Committee, do you have a report this evening? Intra -Governmental Relations Committee Councilman Madden: Yes, Mr. President. Thank you. The Intra -Governmental Relations Committee met on Tuesday, December 30, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Caucus room to discuss the Mayor's request to appoint Ms. Roxana Galateanu to the Building Zoning Board of Appeals Commission for the term from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2029. Present were the Mayor, Directors of Law, Finance, HR, Economic Development, Safety, Service, Recreation, and Special Assistant to the Mayor, Committee Members Gilchrist and Madden, Council Members Glassburn, Hamann, Limpert, and Scarl. • The meeting began with the Mayor encouraging Council's consideration of Ms. Galateanu for the position based on her involvement in the community and schools and her willingness to volunteer. Ms. Galateanu reviewed her background with Council as a 20 -year resident, a PTA involvement, and present employment as a realtor. Council and Committee Members welcomed her and thanked her for her willingness to serve on the Commission. Mr. Madden made a motion to favorably recommend Ms. Galateanu and it was seconded by Councilwoman Gilchrist.
