At this time Mr. President, I move to approve the Appointment of Anthony D'Alessandro to the <br />Planning and Design Commission for the unexpired term of January 1, 2021 through December <br />31, 2025, and ask for a second. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist: <br />Second. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />A motion to approve the appointment of Anthony D'Alessandro to the Planning and Design <br />Commission for the unexpired term of January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2025 is made by <br />Councilman Marrie and seconded by Councilwoman Gilchrist. The Intra-Governmental Relations Committee concluded at 6:55 p.m., and Mr. <br />President if it's okay I would like to have a moment of personal privilege? <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Of course. <br />Councilman Marrie: <br />Thank you very much. This past Thursday, I had the opportunity to tour the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant, Fire Station I, the Police Station, the Rec Center, the Senior Center and <br />Springvale, and Oxcart Food Pantry. I'd just like to say thank you to Bea Taylor and the Directors <br />of Service, Recreation, and Safety for making these visits happen. I want to also thank <br />everybody that gave me the tours and answered all of my questions, as you know I like to ask a <br />lot of questions, so they were very patient with me, but I learned a lot and I have come back <br />with a much better understanding of the overall functions of these departments and I have a <br />much deeper appreciation of all of the hard-working employees in the City, so thank you. <br />04-15-25 Council Meeting Minutes - Page 7 <br />
