MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MAY 7, 2025 <br />Council President Brossard: <br />The Council meeting of May 7, 2025, will now please come to order at 7:32 p.m. and the <br />audience is invited to join the Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />All: <br />I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it <br />stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Will the Clerk please call the roll? <br />Council Clerk: <br />Mr. Brossard: Present <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Here <br />Ms. Hemann: Here <br />Mr. Limpert: Present <br />Mr. Madden: Here <br />Mr. Marrie: Here <br />Mr. Scarl: Present <br />Mr. Shymske: Here <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Council President Brossard: <br />If there are no additions or corrections, the Council Meeting Minutes of April 15, 2025, as well <br />as the Special Council Meeting Minutes of April 22, 2025, are approved as written. <br />There is one item on the agenda being requested for suspension this evening, which is <br />Resolution 2025-41. <br />Moving into reports, Mayor Dailey Jones, do you have a report this evening? <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Jones: <br />I do, Mr. President. Thank you. <br />• It was a busy and exciting weekend at our Recreation Center. First, we celebrated the <br />long-awaited grand opening of the rock -climbing wall in the pool. I had the pleasure of <br />cutting the ribbon alongside our Director of Recreation, members of our recreation <br />staff, and Councilwoman Hemann. This was a fun and engaging addition to our facility, <br />and we're thrilled that it is now finally open to the public. <br />
