iii. Developments shall not be limited in the number of driveways accessed <br />via an alley. <br />iv. Individual developments or phases on the same or separate lots built as <br />part of a larger, approved master development plan will have driveway <br />access determined by measuring the street frontage of the master <br />development plan. <br />b. Driveway Location and Spacing. <br />i. Driveways shall be located and designed in a manner that minimizes <br />conflicts with both pedestrians and vehicular traffic. <br />ii. All surface parking lots and structured parking shall be designed so that <br />driveway access is off of a secondary street or alley, when such secondary <br />street or alley can be accessed from the site. Driveway access to a parking <br />lot may be achieved through an inter -parcel connection to a street or <br />alley, with the approval of the Planning and Design Commission. <br />iii. Driveways cannot be located within one hundred and fifty feet (150') <br />from any intersection, as measured from the driveway center line to any <br />intersection as shown in Q in Figure 1150.09(C), provided, however, that <br />all developments are allowed at least one driveway. <br />iv. Driveways cannot be located within two hundred and fifty feet (250') <br />from any other existing or proposed driveway along the same street <br />frontage as shown in Q in Figure 1150.09(C), provided, however, that all <br />developments are allowed at least one driveway. <br />V. Distances between driveways shall be measured along the right-of-way <br />line from the center line of the proposed driveway at the right-of-way <br />to the center line at the right-of-way of any other proposed or existing <br />driveway. <br />Design of Driveways. <br />Driveway width shall be measured at the intersection of the public right- <br />of-way, as shown in Q in Figure 1150.09(C). <br />ii. Driveways shall be designed in accordance with the regulations outlined <br />in Table 1150.09(D). <br />JANUARY 24, 2025 27 <br />
