g. Information and Wayfinding Kiosks. A sign built in a metal cabinet, base, or <br />attached to a building that provides wayfinding, location, local destinations and <br />attractions, events and other information. Information and Wayfinding Kiosks <br />are intended to be viewed at close range by pedestrians. <br />Standards. <br />(1) Information and Wayfinding Kiosks may be digital and interactive. <br />(2) Kiosks may be integrated into a building facade. Kiosks integrated <br />into a building facade must not project more than six inches from <br />the building facade. <br />(3) Digital kiosks may have changing displays, but shall not produce <br />any flashing or excessively bright, loud or distracting effects. <br />(4) Kiosks must provide information and wayfinding for the <br />development, including maps and directories, as well as other items <br />such as events, special announcements, etc. <br />TABLE 1150.12(Q): INFORMATION AND WAYFINDING KIOSKS DIMENSIONAL STANDARDS <br />Area (maximum) 12 square feet <br />Width (maximum) 4 feet <br />Height of stand alone kiosk (maximum) 6 feet <br />Setback from road pavement (minimum) 3 feet <br />Setback from buildings, unless attached (minimum) 10 feet <br />Number of kiosks (max) 2 per block length <br />C. Additional Sign Standards. <br />1. Sign Area. <br />a. Maximum permitted building sign area is determined for each individual facade <br />of a building and shall be based on the lineal footage of each building facade. <br />Each building facade shall be permitted one (1) square foot of signage per <br />lineal foot of frontage of that facade. <br />Permitted building sign area may be used towards the placement of wall, <br />vertical blade, skyline, canopy, and projecting signage. For wall mural <br />signs, only the twenty percent (20%) including lettering or logos will be <br />counted towards the maximum permitted building sign area. <br />JANUARY 24, 2025 57 <br />
