If the defective part is replaced with a rnore costly unlike part. the <br />reimbursement for the price of the original pad will be issued, The substituted part will not be warranted by HEVC. If <br />the same part cannot be used. obtain authorization from HEVC to substitute the part with an unlike part. <br />Parts used for warranty repairs are to be ordered through HEVC's Parts Department. The parts will be processed and <br />invoiced. Reimbursement for the parts is obtained through the filing of a warranty claim, Returned defective warranty <br />parts must be accompanied by a warranty claim, The defective part(s) and the warranty claim must be received by <br />HEVCwithin 3Odays ofthe work being completed. <br />Shipping charges for parts sent from HEVC to the service center will be reimbursed to the service center through the <br />warranty claim <br />Shipping charges for defective warranty parts sent from the service center toHEVC will not be reimbursed to the <br />service center. <br />Approval for "next day" shipping must be approved byHBC. Warranty claims listing unapproved "next day" shipping <br />charges will be reduced bvthe difference between the "next day" charges and what the "stanUand^shipping chGrgeS <br />would have been. This includes parts obtained from HEVCmathird party Supplier, Parts returned toHEVCare not <br />kzbesent using "next day" shipping. <br />Shipping charges for parts used for warranty repairs obtained from an OEM vendor will not be reimbursed by HEVC <br />Vehicles Not Built Per the Vehicle Specifications <br />It is recommended that HEVC be contacted prior to a vehicle being modified due to a vehicle not being built to <br />8peni8natioms.HEVC's warran\ycovers the vehicle ''@S-UUi|t"8ithe time cfmanufacture, Modifications could void <br />HEVC'o warranty, Reimbursement for the modification might be denied because the vehicle was actually built per the <br />specifications aSapproved bythe dealer. <br />Dealer Repair Facilities <br />Service centers that are authorized to perform warranty work are required to have the proper facilities, equipment, <br />and tools k>perform the work, They not only include everyday screwdrivers and wrenches but also electrical testing <br />equipment, HVACequipment, etc, <br />Service centers should maintain a readiiy-available stocK of replacement parts. A customer should riot be out-of- <br />serviceforadayurmorebeoeusenfaoummun.inexpeno|wypad, <br />HEVCdoes not reimburse for common shop supplies. <br />Service centers must have properly trained technical personnel, They must be able to trouble -shoot al of HEVC s <br />systems, Technical training is available frorn HEVC, Excessive repair times due to lack of prope,, tools of, poorly <br />trained technicians will not be accepted Warranty claim charges will be reduced accordingly <br />
