The Environmental Control Committee met this evening, <br />November 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Caucus Room. Present were Committee Members <br />Madden, Marrie and Scarl, Council President Brossard, Councilwomen Gilchrist and Hemann, <br />and Councilmen Limpert and Shymske. From the Administration present were the Assistant Law <br />Director, the HR Director, Economic Development Director, Safety Director, Service Director, <br />Recreation Director, the Clerk of Council, and guests. <br />• On the agenda was Resolution 2025-104, which is a Resolution authorizing the city <br />engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide services to install a <br />sanitary manhole with parshall flume measuring device along MacKenzie Road, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file, and the Division of Engineering in authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br />lowest and best bidder. Mr. Brian Blum, the Superintendent from the Waste Water <br />Treatment Plant, explained the purpose of the measuring device to Council. Presently, <br />the sanitary water flow from Olmsted Township is estimated. The new measuring <br />equipment is designed to give us an accurate reading on the flow to make it a more <br />exact billing for billing purposes.
