why this historic district was established. Do the right thing, Councilmen and women, and turn
away this illogical change to our city's historical core. If the city wants to build more homes,
why not use the land and Pine, Chestnut, and Maple schools where developments exist, more
on Lorain Road West? Thank you.
Priscilla Sprano-Wiles:
Good evening. I'm Priscilla Sprano-Wiles, that's capital S-P-R-A-N-O, capital W-I-L-E-S, 25746,
Butternut Ridge Road. What is it that makes Butternut Ridge Road so special? What is it that
makes these century homes so unique? We have drafty windows. We have uneven floors.
We have creaky stairs. But we also have the history of North Olmsted. And as one of the
current homeowners and stewards of Butternut Ridge Road, I respectfully ask that, not only for
the current residents of North Olmsted, but also for our next generation, that you choose to
preserve our city's historic district by voting no on the rezoning of Butternut Ridge Road. Thank
you.
Council President Brossard:
Seeing no other comments from the audience... Mr. Primosch.
Donald Primosch:
Hello, my name is Donald Primosch. P-R-I-M-O-S-C-H. I live at 6064 Stafford Drive, North
Olmsted, Ohio, 44070. I've been talking about 6078 Stafford for the past seven meetings.
Nothing's changed. It's too cold. There's 12 inches snow on the ground. The players are still
coming to the house. I saw yesterday the blonde girl at 6238 coming to the house. Why? She's
nothing but a troublemaker. I have nothing to say about it. It's been quiet, okay? Keep
snowing. The next thing I'd like to talk about is the parking lot out there. I thought it's really
dark out there. The last meeting I came to, I mean, you got all the Christmas trees and this first
floor is all lit up, and it was lit up today. But last meeting, it was dark. It was bad. Now I'd like to
talk about the parking lot. It's too dark. There's only two lights on the north side and on the
south side. I'm asking for maybe two, three more of those tower lights put between the cars
there. Maybe you can work it in there. You'll have to check it out, how much light you're going
to need. I want... I want ... I'm asking for four towering lights to be put in the middle of the
parking lot, and that's what I said, okay? Like the baseball field. You know those lights at the
baseball field you put all around there? Those are really light. There's four big lights on those
now, and it really, it's going to light up that baseball field. You'll be able to catch the ball now.
I'd also like to... If you could do something with the lights on the ramp, make them brighter.
Now I came in on the south side of the ramp when you came in here. They were out. They
weren't on. So maybe you can fix that. But I'd like to see a lighter, more light come out of those
ramps where you come in up the ramp and that, those lights right there. They're just too dark
in that. That's what I'm asking for. I'd like to feel safe. I got 92 more times to come here. I'd like
to feel safe. You know I came down, I came down Lorain Road and I passed the Mercedes Benz.
There's like lights, those towering lights, every 18, maybe 20 feet. It's all lit up. They light up
their area. Why can't we light up our parking lot? That's what I'm just asking for. Okay. Okay.
I'm just going to leave it there. You know what I'd like you to do? I'd like you to put it in your
budget for 2026. That's all. Maybe you can work it in there, put up more lights in the parking
12 1.6-25 Council Meeting Minutes -- Page :1.8
