Councilman Marrie, Chairman of the Intra-Governmental Relations Committee, do <br />you have a report this evening? <br />Intra-Governmental Relations Committee <br />Councilman Marrie: <br />Yes, Mr. President, I do have a report. The Intra-Governmental Relations Committee met on <br />Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 6:50 p.m. Present were Committee Members Marrie, Gilchrist, <br />and Shymske, Council Members Madden, Carr, Limpert, and Scarl, Council President Brossard, <br />the Mayor and Directors of Economic Development, Finance, Public Safety, HR, Service, <br />Recreation, the Chief of Staff, and Guests. <br />• First on the agenda was our meeting with Gretchen Schuler, who is the Mayor's <br />appointment to the Building, Zoning Board of Appeals Commission. Ms. Schuler gave <br />information about her background, including being a lifetime North Olmsted resident, <br />and a volunteer in many community -based groups. Ms. Schuler also has served on the <br />Landmarks and Charter Review Commissions in the past, and she was also the North <br />Olmsted Citizen of the Year. The Committee and Council thanked Ms. Schuler for her <br />willingness to volunteer, and the Committee voted 3-0 to recommend the appointment <br />to the Building, Zoning Board of Appeals Commission. <br />01-20-26 Council Meeting Minutes Page 6 <br />
