MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />APRIL 7, 2026 <br />Council President Brossard: <br />The Council meeting of April 7, 2026, will now please come to order at 7:30 p.m. The audience <br />is invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />All: <br />I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it <br />stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Will the Clerk please call the roll? <br />Council Clerk: <br />Mr. Brossard: Present <br />Ms. Carr: Present <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Here <br />Mr. Limpert: Present <br />Mr. Madden: [absent] <br />Mr. Marrie: Here <br />Mr. Scarl: Present <br />Mr. Shymske: Here <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Council President Brossard: <br />If there are no additions or corrections, the Council Meeting Minutes of March 17, 2026, and <br />the Public Hearing Minutes of March 10, 2026, are approved as written. <br />There are three items being requested for suspension this evening. They are Ordinance 2026- <br />31, as well as Resolutions 2026-32 and [2026-]33, all of which are on first reading. <br />Moving into reports, Mayor Dailey Jones, do you have a report this evening? <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Jones: <br />I do, Mr. President. Thank you. <br />• On March 26th, at the North Olmsted High School Performing Arts Center, we <br />welcomed residents, families, and community leaders to our State of the City and <br />Schools event. The evening was a great success, despite the dreadful weather that night. <br />We heard from many residents that enjoyed this combined format and found it to be <br />both engaging and informative. We look forward to continuing this collaborative <br />
