Mayor Jones: Mr. President? President Pro Tempore Scarl: Mayor, go ahead. Mayor Jones: Mr. Sturgeon, the bid that went out that Council is going to authorize it includes recycling, and it's not taken apart. The bid is for both trash and recycling pickup; and to your earlier point as the Charter Review Commission Chairman, I would certainly hope that you and your fellow colleagues would look at the piggybacking section of our Charter and consider putting that forward to our voters to change. It would save our City money, not just when we're going out to look at things like a trash company pickup situation, but that was very frustrating for Service Director Kearney, just these past few months, because he was trying to get a piggyback clause with another city so that we could save money, and we could not because of our Charter, and so I would absolutely encourage the Charter Review Commission to consider that the next time that you assemble and consider putting something before the voters. And finally, Mr. President, as as your fellow Council Members who had been out to Republic, had seen for themselves that they do they do recycle, and they do have actually a separate facility for that. We have a scout who is with us today observing your City Council meeting, and I know that they also offer tours for groups like the Scouts and the Cub Scouts and things like that, and so that's where I saw it actually, was through a scout tour at Republic.
