You can take a tour of the plant anytime you want to, I can <br />schedule an appointment with you, you can take a tour. Mr. Madden was just there within the <br />last year, and they show you exactly what they do with this garbage and what they do with <br />recyclables. <br />Jeff Sturgeon: <br />Okay, so you've seen it with your own eyes. <br />Service Director Kearney: <br />I never went there, but I know that they do. <br />Councilman Madden: <br />Yes, they do. <br />Service Director Kearney: <br />I've seen film. <br />Jeff Sturgeon: <br />Okay, that takes a little bit of the uncertainty out of the equation. Okay, because I was thinking <br />a lot of cities that I go into because I travel, I know they don't have recycle. They have garbage <br />pickup but not recycle. Okay, would it be that we save money by not doing recycling? <br />President Pro Tempore Scarl: <br />Okay Mr. Surgeon You're over your five minutes <br />Jeff Sturgeon: <br />Yea, they took three minutes [laughing]. <br />President Pro Tempore Scarl: <br />Are you good? <br />Jeff Sturgeon: <br />Yeah, I'm just wondering would we save money if we didn't do recycling, or do we legally have <br />to recycle? <br />Service Director Kearney: <br />My opinion is, if you're asking me if we should recycle, it's my opinion that we should, that's my <br />qualified answer. <br />
