being that they're in a different city than that. You're not getting tax money from them or anything. Whatever they're putting in the sewers costing us taxpayers in North Olmsted more and we have to do different things, and I believe that we should consider how to give them a different rate on their sewer discharge. Mayor Jones: Mr. President. President Pro Tempore Scarl: Mayor. Mayor Jones: Hello. We service that company because they are actually a part of our wastewater treatment plant intake directed by the EPA. So where they're located they are actually taxed by our wastewater treatment plant. There's a portion of the Township that we service, and they do pay into our sewer rate as opposed to paying the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, so they are a part of our service area and they are taxed. Jeff Sturgeon: I understand that, but seeing that we are not going to collect any property tax from, I'm saying that okay, and seeing how it's not a North Olmsted resident, and they wish to use our water and wish to use our sewer, I would like to see a company like that because they're costing us money, here because we have to do things that we normally wouldn't have done, had they not even been using our sewer system. I think that it would be only fair to charge that company, have them compensate us for whatever that sewer rate is. Mayor Jones: Mr. President. Mr. Sturgeon, I can look into that obviously, we don't have our Law Director here with us this evening, and I can get back to you to see if that's even possible. But we can certainly look into it. Jeff Sturgeon: All right. Next thing, I think it was 2026-46, where you were trying to get bids for the trash recycle. I know that comes up, what every two, three years something like that, and I know that we're not allowed to piggyback according to our Charter with another city, and I don't know what the different rate would be if we were allowed. Okay how much are we losing by not being able to piggyback, but if it's a substantial amount of money, it might be something that we might want to consider changing in our Charter. Okay, and I don't know if you know if we're losing thousands and thousands of dollars over a 10-year period, then I would say we need to change the Charter, where we are allowed to piggyback off another city. And also I was thinking, we have the blue cans and the green cans, the green cans are for recycle, Republic does a great job... fortunate and I like how they're doing the bulk pickup weekly and everything, but I'm not so certain that our recycle even goes anyplace different. I know that the City of Cleveland, they were on the news a while back and everything just ended up at the same place. Does anybody know does that happening with us or not?
