CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO.2026 -79 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 351.18 ENTITLED <br />"PARKING TICKET PROCEDURES" OF CHAPTER 351 ENTITLED <br />"PARKING GENERALLY" OF TITLE SEVEN ENTITLED <br />"PARKING" OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Directors of Law and Public Safety, together with the Chief of <br />Police recommend that Section 351.18 entitled "Parking Ticket Procedures" of the Parking <br />Code of the City of North Olmsted be amended in order to update judicial process and <br />procedures for parking tickets; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council wishes to amend Section 351.18 entitled Parking Ticket <br />Procedures. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 351.08 entitled "Parking Ticket Procedures of the <br />Traffic Code of the City of North Olmsted, which currently reads in its entirety as set forth <br />herein shall be and the same is hereby amended and shall read in its entirety as follows, <br />with such amendments denoted by bold face text for additions and stricken language for <br />deletions: <br />351.18 PARKING TICKET PROCIi:DURES. <br />(a) Parking tickets shall be written on Uniform Traffic Citation (UTC) firms, <br />as standardized and authorized in accordance with law, apre- n -11 i <br />af/r;roved hiy the Chief of Police, which shall include all information necessary to <br />identify the motor vehicle in violation and its registered owner.
