Council Clerk: <br />Resolution 2026-77. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Economic and Community <br />Development to solicit statements of qualifications (S.O.Q.) from qualified firms to provide <br />architectural design services for the Old Town Hall Phase Two Renovation Project and further <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with <br />the firm selected in the Request for Qualification (R.F.Q.) process, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President I introduce and place on first reading. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Ordinance 2026-78. An Ordinance amending Section 303.08 entitled "Impounding of Vehicles; <br />Redemption" of Chapter 303 entitled "Enforcement, Impounding and Penalty" of Title Three <br />entitled "Traffic Code" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Mayor Jones: <br />Mr. President I introduce and place on first reading and request suspension of the rule requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review. <br />Councilman Limpert: <br />Mr. President. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Councilman Limpert. <br />Councilman Limpert: <br />I would like to make a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings and formal <br />committee review as this is under the advisement of the Law Director that this should be <br />passed with emergency, and ask for a second. <br />Councilman Shymske: <br />Second. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review for <br />Ordinance 2026-78, made by Councilman Limpert and seconded by Councilman Shymske.
