Mr. Marrie: Yes <br />Mr. Madden: Yes <br />Ms. Carr: Yes <br />Mr. Limpert: Yes <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Resolution 2026-69 is amended by a vote of 7-0. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist: <br />Moving on, the meeting is adjourned to discuss Resolution 2026-77, a Resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Economic and Community Development to solicit statements of qualifications, SOQ, <br />from qualified firms to provide architectural design services for the Old Town Hall Phase 2 <br />renovation project and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, <br />to enter into a contract with the firm selected in the Request for Qualifications RFQ process in <br />declaring an emergency. Director Wackers explained that Resolution 2026-77 will allow us to <br />move into Phase 2 of the Old Town Hall renovation project. Phase 2 will focus on the interior <br />renovations, redoing the first floor, making it available once again for public use. 60% of the Phase <br />2 funds have been secured. A request for an additional $200,000 in CBG and CBSG funds was <br />requested from the County and is expected to be awarded this fall, making the total available <br />funds for Phase 2 to be approximately a half a million. The total cost of the project Phase 1 and <br />2 is $1 million. Funding has not been explored for Phase 3 of the Town Hall project at this time. <br />Resolution 2026-77 was recommended to Council by a vote of 3-0, and that concludes my report, <br />Mr. President. The Streets and Transportation Committee met on Tuesday, <br />August 25, 2026, at 7:39 p.m. Those in attendance were all of Council, including Committee <br />members Shymske, Gilchrist, and Madden, Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, all the <br />Directors, the Chief of Staff, and guests. There were two Ordinances on the agenda, Ordinance <br />2026-76 and Ordinance 2026-81. <br />
