/ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ?- ORDINANCE NO. 2000-32 BY: MAYOR MUSIAL AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BRADLEY ROAD TO BE USED FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor and the Director of Law to complete negotiations with the owner of certain real property located on the North side of Bradley Road, identified as Permanent Parcel Number 233-7-25 and by the Map attached hereto as Exhibit A, and being approximately nine (9) acres in size, and for the Mayor to enter into a contract for the purchase of said real property so that it may be used by the City for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, the Mayor has advised the Council of the proposed terms and conditions of the purchase of said property; and WHEREAS, as a part of this transaction, the Owner is donating to the City an additional approximately one-third (1/3) acres of real property, together with the house located upon it; and WHEREAS, this Council is satisfied with the said terms and conditions of the aforesaid proposed contract and desires to authorize the Mayor, upon completion of contract negotiations, to enter into the same, and to further authorize the Mayor, on behalf of the City, to accept the additional real property which is proposed to be donated to the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor and the Director of Law are hereby authorized to complete negotiations, and the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract, for the purchase of approximately nine (9) acres of real property located on the North side of Bradley Road, and identified as Permanent Parcel Number 233-7-25 and by the Map attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be used for municipal purposes.
