CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 2003-58 <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />AN ORD/NANCE ESTABLISH/NG A NEW AND REVISED CITY SALARY RANGE ORD/NANCE TO CREATE THE <br />POS/T/ONS OF NUTRIT/ON AIDE 1 AND NUTRITION A/DE 2, AND AUTHOR/ZE PAY SCALES FOR SA/D <br />POSITIONS, AND DECLAR/NG AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has applied for, obtained and estabiished a special revenue fund to administer <br />the Transportation, Nutrition and Support programs for the Senior Center Hot Lunch Program, pursuant to a federal <br />grant issued under Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 USC 35), as administered by the Department of <br />Human Resources, under a contract with and the guidelines of Western Reserve Agency on Aging (WRAAA), as <br />approved by Council Resolutions Nos. 2002-120 and 205 and Ordinance No. 2003-44; <br />WHEREAS, upon the advice and request of the Director of Human Resources, this Council intends to create the <br />positions of Nutrition Aide 1 and Nutrition Aide 2, and to establish salary ranges for same, in order to fulfill and <br />administer the City's obligations under the aforesaid federal grant and Contract with WRAAA; <br />WHEREAS, in order to effect this change in the Division of Aging, only section 13 will be amended, by adding as <br />fol lows: <br />Section 13 E., Nutrition Aides, part-time positions, paid at a rate of $ 6.00 per hour, with a range of $5.25 -$6.75; <br />WHEREAS, other than the foregoing changes and additions, it is the intent of this Council to re-adopt and maintain all <br />of the current provision of the Ciry Salary Range ordinances, as provided by law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for administrative and legislative personnel <br />of the City of North Olmsted.
