et ,1` - <br />BY <br />,f~, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 70- <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART FOR THE AD1VIIlVISTRATION TO BE HEADED <br />BY THE MAYOR, AS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE III, <br />SECTION I THROUGH 5, INCLUSIVE, OF THE <br />CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND <br />IN ADDITION THERETO, FROVIDING POSITIONS <br />FOR EMPLOYEES OF THIS DEPARTMENT, AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 70-35, AND DE- <br />CLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in Article IIT, Section <br />I through 5, inclusive, provided that the administrative functions of the City shall <br />be headed by the Mayor ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees in <br />the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of identification, as to duties performed <br />and remuneration received ;and <br />WHEREAS, the Administration employs certain personnel and assistants to <br />carry out the responsibilities of the Administration. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That the Administration of the City of North Olmsted, as provided <br />for in Article III, Sectirn I through 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the Cfty of North <br />Olmsted is to be headed by the Mayor, and shall consist of the Mayor, One (1 ) <br />Director of Public Service, One (1) Administrative Assistant, One (1) Building <br />Commissioner, One (1) Police Chief, One (1) Fire Chief, One (1) Secretary to <br />the Mir, One (1) Secretary to the Director of Public Service, and other part- <br />time clerical help as determined by theMayor. <br />Section 2. That retroactive to January 1, 1970, the remuneration of the. <br />employees in the Administration of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows; <br />Mayor <br />Director of Public Service <br />Administrative Assistant <br />Secretary to the Mayor <br />Secretary to the Director <br />of Public Service <br />Clerical and Secretarial <br />Help <br />$17, 000.00 Annually <br />$12, 000.00 to $16.000.00 Annually <br />$ 9, 000.00 to $11, 000.00 Annually <br />$ 5 , 000.00 to $ 6, 500.00 Annually <br />$ 5 , 000.00 to $ 6, 500.00 Annually <br />$ 1.35 to $ 2.50 Per Hour <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance Semi-Monthly. <br /> <br />
