CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 73-,Q BY : G %~~ AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FQR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, SETTING FORTH THE CUMPEN- SATION ~ BE PAID EMPLOYEES OF THE FINANCE DEPARTME2~T, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 72- 194, ENA~~ED DECEMBER 5, 1972, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Council of the City of North Olmsted has established an Organizational Chart for the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted; and WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the remuneration to be paid employees of the Finance Department; and WHEREAS, Council has combined the Organizational Chart of the Finance Department and compensation to be paid to the employees of the Finance Department including the Municipal Income Tax Division of the Finance Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1. That the complement of the Finance Department, and all its divisions shall be as follows: Director of Finance Director of Finance's Secretary (Assistant Finance Director) Clerical - Finance Income Tax Administrator Clerical Help in Income Tax Division Said Finance Department shall be under the direction of the Finance Director who shall be responsible for the operation of the Finance Department. Section 2. That retroactive to January 1, 1973, the remuneration of employees in the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted, including all its divisions shall be as follows: Director of Finance $13,000.00 Director of Finance's Secretary (Assistant Finance Director) 6,552.00 to $ 8,237.00 Income Tax Division Administrator 8,000.00 to 13,000.00 Effective January 1, 1974 and thereafter Director of Finance $14,500.00 Annually Annually Annually Annually which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. Section 3. The secretarial and clerical help of the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable aver and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on each anniversary date of employment. Section 4. That all full time employees of the Finance Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work by the Director of Finance in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay: New Year's Day; P4emorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; Presidents' Day and the employee's birthday. -~.
