CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 68- <br />ju?t <br />sY <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART <br />OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT SETTING FORTH THE COM- <br />PLEMENT OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND ESTABLISHING <br />THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE EMPLOYEES OF THE <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has established the Organizational Chart for <br />the Building Department into a separate Ordinance setting forth the personnel <br />needed; and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the compensation to be paid to <br />the employees of the Building Department ; and <br />WHEREAS, the establishing of an Organizational Chart together withthe <br />salaries to be paid will assist the finance director in paying the remuneration <br />established to the employees of the Building Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the complement of the Building Department is hereby <br />established and set forth as follows: <br />Building Commissioner <br />Chief Building Inspector . <br />Assistant Building Inspectors <br />Plumbing and Sewer Inspector <br />Heating and Ventilatinq Inspector <br />Eleatrfcal Inspector <br />Secretary to the Building Commissioner <br />Clerical Help <br />Part time Clerical Help <br />Section 2. That retroactive to january 1, 1968, the remuneration to be <br />paid the employees of the Building Department shall be as follows: <br />Building Commissioner <br />Chief Building Inspector <br />Assistant Building Inspector <br />Plumbing and Sewer Inspector <br />Electrical Inspector <br />Heating & Ventilating Inspector <br />Secretary to the Building <br />Commissioner <br />Clerical Help <br />Part-time Clerical Help <br />$7,500.00 to $9,500.00 Annually <br />$5, 500. 00 to $7, 700. 00 Annually <br />$5 , 500. 00 to $7, 500. 00 Annually <br />$6, 300. 00 to $7, 700. 00 Annually <br />$4, 000. 00 Annually part-time <br />$4, 000. 00 Annually part-time <br />$4, 000.00 to $5, 000. 00 Annually <br />$3, 000. 00 to $4, 1100. 00 Annually <br />Up to $l, 500. 00 Annually <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. <br />A. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees and retroactive <br />to September 1, 1968, all full time employees of the Building Department having <br />completed five years of full time continuous service as employees of said de- <br />partment shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary thereafter <br />until completion of the tenth year of continuous full time service, after which <br />such employees shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until <br />thq completion of the 15th year of continuous full time service, and thereafter
