WILAMOSKY <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTE" <br />ORDINANCF N0. 83 - 31 <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A NEG] AND REVISED SECTION 161.03 <br />OF THF CODIFIED ORDINANCES ENTITLED "EMPLOYEE'S VACATIONS: <br />EXCEPTIONS", AS AMENDED. <br />Wf-IEREAS, there has been some confusion in the past with respect to employee's <br />vacation benefits; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to specifically set forth employee's <br />benefits relating to vacations so that there will be no confusion in the future as <br />to precisely what vacation allowances are granted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTFD, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA <br />ANn STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That there is hereby adopted a new ancl revised Section 161.03 <br />entitled "Employee's Vacations; Exceptions", which new and revised section sha11 read <br />as follows: <br />161.03 Employee's jlacations; Exceptions <br />Unless otherwise provided in these Codified Ordinances, salaried <br />and hourly employees of the North Olmsted Bus Line, as well as those <br />employees included in the Memorandum of Understanding between the City <br />and the bargaining unit in the Department of Public Service, all employees <br />of the City shall be given the following paid vacations: <br />(A) Full time employees who have completed one full year of employment <br />are entitled to two weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken <br />during the second year of employment. <br />(B) Full time employees who have completed two full years of employment <br />are entitled to two weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken <br />during the third year of employment. <br />(C) Full time employees who have completed three fu11 years of employment <br />are entitled to two weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during <br />the fourth year of employment. <br />(D) Full time employees who have completed four full years of employment <br />are entitled to two weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken <br />during the fifth year of employment. <br />(E) Full time employees who have completed five full years of employment <br />are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during <br />the sixth year of employment. <br />(F) Full time employees who have completed six full years of employment <br />are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during <br />the seventh year of employment. <br />(G) Full time employees who have completed seven full years of employment <br />areentitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation shall be tak.en durinp <br />the eigth year of employment. <br />(H) Full time employees who have completed eight fu11 years of employment <br />are entitled to three weeks vacation; said vacation shall be taken during <br />the ninth year of employment.
