-t5-1 Fev. 4/1/83 .??O"' ? <br />? <br />• <br />NAM.E OF STREET North Olmsted City oRDINANCE NO, 86 - 100 <br />aoure No. Various n+?rs_ Noveihber 18 1986 <br />? <br />An amsrqency ordinance enaotad by the City pf North Olmsted { <br />Cuvahoga County, Ohio, in the wetter of the hereinaftaz described improveaient <br />and to zequest coopezation by the Dizectoz of Tzansportation. <br />wHEREJIS, the City has identified the need for and proposes the lmprovement of a portion of the <br />gublic highway which ia described as follovsc <br />install a new traffic signalization system for Lotain Road (SR10), Brookpark Road <br />(SR 17), Columbia Rd and Great Northern Boulevard.(SR252), Dover Center Road <br />(CR-58) and Clague Road (CR-52) in the City of North Olmsted. Work shall include <br />upgrading or replacing existing equipment as necessary. - <br />? <br />said portion of highvay vithin the municipal corporatlon limits being hireinafter referred to <br />as the improvement, and <br />wHEREAS, the City furiher desires cooperation from the Director of Tzansportation in the <br />planning, desiqn and construction of said improvement. • <br />NOW THERERORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted <br />Ohio: <br />SECfION I (Coopezation) <br />That said City}ezeby zequests the cooperation of the Dizectoz of Transportation in the <br />cos[ of the above described improvement as follows: <br />? <br />The City will assume and bear the entire cost of the improvement less the <br />amount of Federal-aid funds determined to be eligible and set aside by the <br />Director of Transportation for financing the improvement from funds allocated by <br />the Federal Highway Administration, United States Department of Transportation. <br />In addition, the City will assume one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of <br />Preliminary Engineering. <br />SEC7'ION II (Consent)` <br />That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said City',be and <br />such consent is hereby given to the Dizector of Transportation to conetzuct the above described <br />improvement, in accordance with plans, specifications and estimates ae approved by the Airector. <br />SECTION III (Authority to Sign) <br />That the_ M8y O I of aaid City, is hereby empovered <br />and dizected on behalf of the City to entez into aqreements with the Directoz of Transportation <br />necessary to complete the planning and construction of this improvament. <br />SECTION IV (Traffic Control Sicm4l.n and pevi.ceel <br />That traffic control devicea installed withln the limits of the project vill confozm vith Section <br />4511 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Paqe 1 ot 3
