CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 77-,~Q~ By ~ ~~~.~.//,c AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE AND PROPERTIES SECTION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF PUBLIC SERVICE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, SETTING FORTH THE PERSONNEL NEEDED AND ESTABLISHING THE REMUNERATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID SECTION AND REPEALING ORDINANCE 76-107, ENACTED ON SEPTEMBER 7, 1976, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,. AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, Council has adopted O~_ganizational Charts for all employees, both salaried and hourly, of the City of North Olmsted; and WHEREAS, Council has adopted the Organizational Chart in order to establish future personnel needs, as the needs of the City of North Olmsted increase due to popula- tion expansion: NOW, THEREFORE, I3E IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: 7Chat there is hereby created a Public Works Division which shall be supervised by one (1) Public Works Commissioner who shall report and be answerable directly to the Director of Public Service. The duties of the Public Works Commissioner shall be as determined by the Director of Public Service. He shall supervise one (1) secretary and all other personnel as set forth hereinafter. SECTION 2: That the Public Works Commissioner shall be responsible for all operations in the Public Works Division and all superintendents shall report directly to the Public Works Commissioner. SECTION 3: That the Superintendent of the Public Service and Properties Section shall be in charge of the Service Department, the Vehicle Maintenance Department and the Building Maintenance Department. He shall serve under and report directly to the Public Works Commissioner and the Service Director. SECTION 4: The complement of the Public Service and Properties Section shall include the Service Department, the Vehicle Maintenance Department and the Building Main- tenance Department and shall be as follows: PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION I. Public Works Commissioner A. Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner - one (1) B. Superintendent of Public Service and Properties Section - one (1) 1. Service a. Four (1) (2) (3) (4) )epartment (4) Service Foremen Twenty (20) Class A Laborers Twenty-six (26) Laborers classified as B and C One (1) Clerk-Typist Summer and part-time help as needed.
