CITY OF NOP.TH (?LN[STFD, AS Al!.IENDED. <br />BF IT 0:2I)AINFD BY TI-IF COU-NCIL QF THF CITY QF NORTH QIMSTED, COUNT'Y OF <br />CI,?.A° !0GA AND STATE OF OHIO : <br />SECTION 1: That Section 1151.04 entitled "Accessory i?ses in Any Residence <br />1?istrict" o(: apter 1151 entitled "Use Restrictions" of the Zoning Code of_ the <br />City of North Olmsted, be and the same is hereby amended and as amended shall <br />read as follows: <br />1151.04 ACCESSORY USES IN ANY RESIDENCE DISTRICT <br />The following accessory uses and buildings are nermitteci in any Pesidence <br />District: <br />(A) Within a dwelling, the office of a surgeon, physician, <br />clergyman, architect, engineer, attorney or other <br />nrofessional person residing in such dwelling and employing <br />.ot more than one non-resident office or laboratory <br />assistant, provided no sign or other outward evidence, of <br />the occupation that is carried on upon the premises except <br />one complying with Section 1225.01 of the 7onina Code is <br />disr_layed on the nremises. <br />(B) Customary home occupation for gain carried on in the <br />dwelling requiring c;nly customary home equinment, provided <br />that no non-resident help is employed for that purpose, no <br />trading or sale merchandise is carried on upon the nremises <br />and no sign or other outward evidence of the occunation is <br />displayed on the premises. <br />(C) (1) A private garage detached from the dwelling provided <br />that it is so located that no nart of the same sha11 be <br />within twenty (20) feet of a dwelling on the same lot or <br />any adjacent Iot or within five (5) feet of any nroperty <br />line of the lot on which the same is located and f_urther <br />provided that any garage or garages ir_ combzr_ation taith any <br />T <br />other detached building shall not exceed a total of seven <br />hundred fifty (750) sauare feet. <br />(2) A private garage, attached by a corrunon wal l witr.in <br />the livable floor area of a dwelling er connected to <br />the dwelling by means of a covered or enclosed area, or a <br />careDort, which, for the nurtDose of determining the setback, <br />rear and side yard requirements or_ly, shall be considered <br />?)art of the dwelling. <br />(D) (1) A building detached from the dwelling used for storage <br />and corrnnonly referred to as a tool shed, constriictecI on <br />land wherein the existing garaae is d.etached or -orher.e no <br />garage exists subj ect to the followixia snecifications :
