? <br />? <br />APPROVED : '? - ? - ? f <br />CITY OF NORTH OI,.MSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 79- 55 <br />BY : ?jJA ?lJ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR VARIOUS E2UIPMENT FOR USE IN <br />THE SERVICE DEPAR'1?,ENT, AND DECLARING AN E1yERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY 'IT-iE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />C[JYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorizec o advertise for bids for two (2) 1-1/2-ton dwnp trucks, two (2) <br />8-foot plows and frames, one (1) Jeep type 4-wheel drive vehicle, one (1) <br />6-foot plow and frame, one (1) large Low-Boy Trailer (for Gradall), two (2) <br />2-1/2-ton dump trucks with front PTO hydraulic system, two (2) 10-foot plows <br />and frames, one (1) steam cleaner, one (1) engine stand, one (1) 4-ton <br />floor jack, and two (2) under body plows. Said equipment shall conform to <br />the specifications now on file in the Office of the Director of Public Service, <br />and upon the approval by the Board of Control, the Ma.yor is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this P,esolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure imane iately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that the aforesaid equipment <br />is needed to replace the existing worn out eauipment, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force irrnnediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ? -2.5. /919 _ <br />ATTEST : <br />FLORENCE E.
