CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE N0. 76 - ~k~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO <br />AGREEMENT WITH STEPHEN Di <br />OF TRASH, COMMONLY KNOWN <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF NORTH <br />AN EMERGENCY <br />THE MAYOR OF THE <br />ENTER INTO AN <br />)CY FOR THE COLLECTION <br />AS WHITE METALS, <br />OLMSTED, AND DECLARING <br />WHEREAS, the Council and administration have agreed to <br />adopt a policy whereby the City would grant to Stephen Docy <br />the salvage rights to refuse, commonly known as white metals, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council believes that it is in the best <br />interst of the City to grant exclusive salvage rights to Stephen <br />Docy so that the manpower previously used by the City for the <br />collection of white metals can be utilized in other areas. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized <br />to enter into an agreement with Stephen Docy with respect to <br />exclusive salvage rights relating to white metals, a copy of <br />said Agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof and <br />marked Exhibit A. <br />SECTION 2: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety, and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to implement a program of refuse <br />collection which is advantageous both economically and ecologically <br />to the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of_ all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval <br />PASSED: / ,~ <br />A`l"1'E S`l' <br />N , ~/ <br />APPROVEJ]~:I Lr j ~,7,(, ~ <br />LPIi E ~ CHRISTMAN, <br /> <br />
