CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 74 -/.,~~ <br />BY• MR. LIMPERT <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART FOR THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITIES, <br />COLLECTION SYSTEM AND LIFT STATIONS, A SECTION <br />OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, SETTING FORTH THE PERSONNEL <br />NEEDED AND ESTABLISHING THE REMUNERATION FOR <br />CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID DIVISION AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 73-73 ENACTED JULY 17, <br />1973, AND ORDINANCE NO. 74-93 kfiTACTED JUNE 18, <br />1974, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all <br />employees, both salaried and hourly, of the City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted the Organizational Chart in order <br />to establish future personnel needs, as the needs of the City of <br />North Olmsted increase due to population expansion; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: There is hereby created a Wastewater Treatment Section <br />of the Public Works Division of the City of North Olmsted. Said section <br />shall include the Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Collection System <br />and Lift Station personnel. <br />SECTION 2: The Public Works Commissioner shall be responsible for <br />all operations of said Section and all supervisors shall report directly <br />to the Public Works Commissioner. <br />SECTION 3: The complement of the Public Works Division shall <br />include the Wastewater Treatment Section and shall be as follows: <br />A. One (1) Superintendent Wastewater Treatment Facilities <br />1. Treatment Plant <br />a. One (1) Assistant Superintendent of Operations <br />b. One (1) Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance <br />c. One (1) Chemist <br />d. One (1) Maintenance Mechanic <br />e. One (1) Mechanic Helper <br />f. One (1) Maintenance Laborer <br />g. Eight (8) Plant Operators <br />h. Four (4) Plant Laborers <br />i. One (1) Laboratory Technician <br />j. Summer and part-time help as needed <br />2. Collection System and Lift Stations <br />a. One (1) Assistant Superintendent of Systems <br />b. One (1) Foreman <br />c. One (1) Systems Maintenance Technician <br />d. One (1) Lift Station Attendant <br />e. Three (3) Equipment Operators <br />f. Two (2) Laborers <br />g. Summer and part-time help as needed <br />;, ... , ...,,,a.~,.- .. , . . <br />
