CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0, 75 -~~~ By: Mr. Limpert AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE ADMINISTRATION TO BE HEADED BY THE MAYOR, AS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 1 THROUGH 5, INCLUSIVE, OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND IN ADDITION THERETO, PROVIDING POSI- TIONS FOR EMPLOYEES OF THI5 DEPARTMENT, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 73-69, ENACTED JULY 17, 1973, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, in Article III, Section 1 through 5, inclusive, provided that the administrative functions of the City shall be headed by the Mayor, as Chief Executive Officer; and, WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees in the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of identifi- cation, as to duties performed and remuneration received; and, WHEREAS, the Administration employs certain personnel and assistants to carry out the responsibilities of the Administration; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That the Administration of the City of North Olmsted, as provided for in Article III, Section 1 through 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted is to be headed by the Mayor, and shall consist of the Mayor; One (1) Director of Public Service; One (1) Director of Public Safety; One (1) Administrative Assistant; One (1) Building Commissioner; One (1) City Engineer; One (1) Fire Chief; One (1) Secretary to the Mayor; One (1) Secretary to the Director of Public Service; and other part-time clerical help as determined. by the Mayor. SECTION 2: That retroactive to January 1, 1975, the remuneration of the employees in the Administration of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: Mayor Mayor - Effective January Mayor - Effective January Director of Public Service Director of Public Safety Administrative Assistant $21,000.00 1, 1976 $22, 600.00 1, 1977 $24, 200,00 $15,000.00 to $22,470.00 $14,000.00 to $19,260,00 $9,630.00 to $13,286.00 Annually Annually Annually Annually Annually Annually which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. The compensation of the City Engineer; the Building Commissioner; the Police Chief; and the Fire Chief shall be set forth in the organ- izational ordinance for their various departments.
