CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0, 75 -~~~ <br />By: Mr. Limpert <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL CHART <br />FOR THE ADMINISTRATION TO BE HEADED BY THE MAYOR, <br />AS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 1 THROUGH <br />5, INCLUSIVE, OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AND IN ADDITION THERETO, PROVIDING POSI- <br />TIONS FOR EMPLOYEES OF THI5 DEPARTMENT, AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 73-69, ENACTED JULY 17, <br />1973, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, in Article III, <br />Section 1 through 5, inclusive, provided that the administrative <br />functions of the City shall be headed by the Mayor, as Chief Executive <br />Officer; and, <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all <br />employees in the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of identifi- <br />cation, as to duties performed and remuneration received; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Administration employs certain personnel and <br />assistants to carry out the responsibilities of the Administration; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Administration of the City of North Olmsted, <br />as provided for in Article III, Section 1 through 5, inclusive, of <br />the Charter of the City of North Olmsted is to be headed by the Mayor, <br />and shall consist of the Mayor; One (1) Director of Public Service; <br />One (1) Director of Public Safety; One (1) Administrative Assistant; <br />One (1) Building Commissioner; One (1) City Engineer; One (1) Fire <br />Chief; One (1) Secretary to the Mayor; One (1) Secretary to the <br />Director of Public Service; and other part-time clerical help as <br />determined. by the Mayor. <br />SECTION 2: That retroactive to January 1, 1975, the remuneration <br />of the employees in the Administration of the City of North Olmsted <br />shall be as follows: <br />Mayor <br />Mayor - Effective January <br />Mayor - Effective January <br />Director of Public Service <br />Director of Public Safety <br />Administrative Assistant <br />$21,000.00 <br />1, 1976 $22, 600.00 <br />1, 1977 $24, 200,00 <br />$15,000.00 to $22,470.00 <br />$14,000.00 to $19,260,00 <br />$9,630.00 to $13,286.00 <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. <br />The compensation of the City Engineer; the Building Commissioner; <br />the Police Chief; and the Fire Chief shall be set forth in the organ- <br />izational ordinance for their various departments. <br />
