6. ,i REvzs IE°b MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED 0, 1 July 15, 1969 8:12 P.M. Yresent: President of Council Francis J. 0'Neill, Councilmen Casr.er, i=i.d•,r Limpert, Prokasy, West. Absent: Councilmen Eian, Miller. Also present: Mayor Ralph Christman, Law Director J, Bruce Kitchen, Director W. L. Gerlach, Acting City Engineer Michael Karhan, Clerk of Council Margaret West. President 0'Neill first asked if anyone were present to testify on the hUdgt?i for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1970. After an explanation tl:a: budget had been advertised as being available for public inspection in dance with the law, there being no questions, the public hearing on the r:Ufil;- was declared adjourned. The meeting of the Council was then opened. Minutes of the meeting of ;_. Ist were approved as written. Mayor Christman asked that Council consider approval of.a list of name:: -tnitting for appointment to terms of one year on the newly-establ.isheo ?uh Cultural Activities Committee. Mayor Ghristman also requested that the Equalization Board report on t,onrA.l 16 for sanitary sewers be reported out of Committee and acted upon, M:rs.: Hodgins, Chairman of the PUblic Service and Utilities Committee, rer>ct;r.:;_A on their meeting held on July 7th. provision is being made for upgrading r:;= lighting in various areas of the City. The CEI is studying lighting fcr Brendan Lane and a report should be available in about two weeks, Mr Limpert, Chairman of the Transportation Committee, reported on a meet.int:; held with officials of Fairview Park regarding our contract with them for 11-:_ serviee, Another meeting is being scheduled for fuxther discussionp Mr. West= Chairman of the Finance Committee, reported on their meetin.g ??± July 7th, They studied the preliminary 1970 budget to be submitted to ciae County, and requested that an ordinance be prepared for this meeting. lrat:v also approved and requested legislation for three recreation levies tu bE put on the ballot in November. Mr, Prokasy, Chairman of the Design and Platting Committee, reported brief.'t, on the actions of the Planning Commission at their July 8th meeting, at wr)r:J_ time they approved Ordinance 69-120 on zoning changes, as amended, and torc ,r; with Council on Ordinance 69-131, provided that Section 1212.01 B as it notl 5tands not be omitted, and that under Section 1213.01 the words "group aoe{" be deleted and "garden" added before "apartment".
