6. ,i <br />REvzs IE°b <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />0, 1 July 15, 1969 <br />8:12 P.M. <br />Yresent: President of Council Francis J. 0'Neill, Councilmen Casr.er, i=i.d•,r <br />Limpert, Prokasy, West. <br />Absent: Councilmen Eian, Miller. <br />Also present: Mayor Ralph Christman, Law Director J, Bruce Kitchen, <br />Director W. L. Gerlach, Acting City Engineer Michael Karhan, <br />Clerk of Council Margaret West. <br />President 0'Neill first asked if anyone were present to testify on the hUdgt?i <br />for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1970. After an explanation tl:a: <br />budget had been advertised as being available for public inspection in <br />dance with the law, there being no questions, the public hearing on the r:Ufil;- <br />was declared adjourned. <br />The meeting of the Council was then opened. Minutes of the meeting of ;_. <br />Ist were approved as written. <br />Mayor Christman asked that Council consider approval of.a list of name:: <br />-tnitting for appointment to terms of one year on the newly-establ.isheo <br />?uh <br />Cultural Activities Committee. <br />Mayor Ghristman also requested that the Equalization Board report on t,onrA.l <br />16 for sanitary sewers be reported out of Committee and acted upon, <br />M:rs.: Hodgins, Chairman of the PUblic Service and Utilities Committee, rer>ct;r.:;_A <br />on their meeting held on July 7th. provision is being made for upgrading r:;= <br />lighting in various areas of the City. The CEI is studying lighting fcr <br />Brendan Lane and a report should be available in about two weeks, <br />Mr Limpert, Chairman of the Transportation Committee, reported on a meet.int:; <br />held with officials of Fairview Park regarding our contract with them for 11-:_ <br />serviee, Another meeting is being scheduled for fuxther discussionp <br />Mr. West= Chairman of the Finance Committee, reported on their meetin.g ??± <br />July 7th, They studied the preliminary 1970 budget to be submitted to ciae <br />County, and requested that an ordinance be prepared for this meeting. lrat:v <br />also approved and requested legislation for three recreation levies tu bE <br />put on the ballot in November. <br />Mr, Prokasy, Chairman of the Design and Platting Committee, reported brief.'t, <br />on the actions of the Planning Commission at their July 8th meeting, at wr)r:J_ <br />time they approved Ordinance 69-120 on zoning changes, as amended, and torc ,r; <br />with Council on Ordinance 69-131, provided that Section 1212.01 B as it notl <br />5tands not be omitted, and that under Section 1213.01 the words "group aoe{" <br />be deleted and "garden" added before "apartment".
