Meeting was called to order by President Liipert at 8:05 P.M. Minutes of Cotmcil Meeting of Much 2, 1978, were approved as read. Mayor ChristMa reported: 1) as of 4:30 p.m. today the coipreswra wre working to build ice oa the toboEgaa and st 11:00 a.m., March 17th, hops to test the toboggan run. Service Director Caster reported: 1) Toward end of last year had applied for disaster relief funds froi the Stets Disaster Agency for story oa 8/24/75 seal 8/26/75. The applicaticw has been processed and are in receipt of a check for $1,936. which covered our costs pining baseseata and cleaning ditches sad storm sewers; 2) on March 12,1976, the Beard of Control net and agreed to award a contract to General Mc-tors for the purchase of 17 air conditioned type 53 pesaesg~sr buses; spars wheels and s transiissioa for a total project cast of $1,p91,438.42. We were approved for a total project cost of $1,104,000. so came out fairly close to the govsrnasat great bud8et; 3) starting April 24, 1976 th=oug~ ~iowe~rer 20, 1976, the grass truck will be available at the parkitsg area behind the Coimuaity 8ouss. City Bagirwer Childs reported: 1) Sew Street Map has been prepared and copies provided to Council.
