i <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTIi OLMSTED <br />FEBRUARY 15, 1983 <br />Present: President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, Logan, McRay, Petrigac, <br />Saringer, Wilamosky, Woerpel. <br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniawski, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance <br />DirECtor Edward Boyle, Safety Director Eugene Petre, Service <br />Director Jaseph Corrigan, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Meeting was called to order by President Boehmer at 8:05 P.M. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Members of Council in reciting the <br />Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of February 1, 1983, were approved. <br />President Boehmer annouured that Resolution No. 83-20, a resolution comnending the <br />achievement of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting, and Ordinance No. 83--21, an <br />ordinance establishing and fixing compensation for all Council At-Large Members <br />for the term of office coffiencing January lst, 1984, and ending December 31, 1987, <br />have been added to the agenda. Also, there will be a Special Council Meeting on <br />Wednesday, February 16th, at 8:30 P.M. <br />Service Director Corrigan reported: 1) Bids on the lift equipment and infra ray <br />heating for the Bus and Service Garage have been received and are being evaluated. <br />2) Wi11 be following up on the discussions held last Fall with regard to the <br />Edgepark rear yard drainage. Will contact Contractor Limpert to see if the <br />estimated figure of $4.00 per foot is still valid and then will contact the in- <br />terested home owners in the area so they can make a determiaation if theq want to <br />privately contract with Mr. Limpert or some other contractor. <br />Finance Director Boyle reported: 1) Annual meeting for all member conmmunities of <br />Rocky River Municipal Court was held recently. In 1982, the Court took in <br />$397,646 in revenue; spent $362,522; net income is $35,124. In talking with <br />Finance Director Burnham of Rocky River, it does not appear that the possibility of <br />a deficit exists in the near future. <br />Law Director Gareau reported: 1) In the past week, received notice of a lawsuit <br />for an injury that took place at the Recreation Coaxplex. Has turned this over to <br />Service Director Corrigan to pass on to the insurance company. <br />2) Briefs were filed in the past week with respect to the D'Auito Case, dealing <br />with the easement questian.
