i MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTIi OLMSTED FEBRUARY 15, 1983 Present: President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, Logan, McRay, Petrigac, Saringer, Wilamosky, Woerpel. Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniawski, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance DirECtor Edward Boyle, Safety Director Eugene Petre, Service Director Jaseph Corrigan, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. Meeting was called to order by President Boehmer at 8:05 P.M. Members of the audience were invited to join Members of Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Minutes of Council Meeting of February 1, 1983, were approved. President Boehmer annouured that Resolution No. 83-20, a resolution comnending the achievement of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting, and Ordinance No. 83--21, an ordinance establishing and fixing compensation for all Council At-Large Members for the term of office coffiencing January lst, 1984, and ending December 31, 1987, have been added to the agenda. Also, there will be a Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, February 16th, at 8:30 P.M. Service Director Corrigan reported: 1) Bids on the lift equipment and infra ray heating for the Bus and Service Garage have been received and are being evaluated. 2) Wi11 be following up on the discussions held last Fall with regard to the Edgepark rear yard drainage. Will contact Contractor Limpert to see if the estimated figure of $4.00 per foot is still valid and then will contact the in- terested home owners in the area so they can make a determiaation if theq want to privately contract with Mr. Limpert or some other contractor. Finance Director Boyle reported: 1) Annual meeting for all member conmmunities of Rocky River Municipal Court was held recently. In 1982, the Court took in $397,646 in revenue; spent $362,522; net income is $35,124. In talking with Finance Director Burnham of Rocky River, it does not appear that the possibility of a deficit exists in the near future. Law Director Gareau reported: 1) In the past week, received notice of a lawsuit for an injury that took place at the Recreation Coaxplex. Has turned this over to Service Director Corrigan to pass on to the insurance company. 2) Briefs were filed in the past week with respect to the D'Auito Case, dealing with the easement questian.
