MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 26, 1984 <br />Present: President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, O'Grady, <br />Petrigac, Rademaker, Talton. <br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniowski, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance <br />Director Edward Boyle, Safety Director Eugene Petre, Service <br />Director Joseph Corrigan, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilmen Saringer and [ailamosky. <br />Special Meeting of Council was called to order by President Boehmer at 8:15 P.M. <br />President Boehmer announced that Ordinance No. 82-89, appropriating $52,000.00 <br />from the Capital Improvements Fund to enter into an agreement with Alexander <br />Kanareff for preliminary engineering to construct a roadway at the Industrial Park, <br />had been removed from the agenda. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 83--138 introduced by Mr. ~~loerpel was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted, <br />which Zone Map is part of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, by changing <br />the premises hereinafter described from C Single Residence District to Multiple <br />Residence District. Mrs. Petrigac moved for adoption, second by Mr. Rademaker. <br />Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: O'Grady, Petrigac, Rademaker, Talton. <br />Negative vote: Bierman. 4 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. 83-138 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-154 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Title Seven entitled "Local Provisions" of Part Thirteen, of the <br />Building Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, by enacting <br />a new Chapter 1367, entitled "Regulation of Dish-Type Satellite Signal-Receiving <br />Earth Stations", and declaring an emergency, as amended. Mr. O'Grady moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-154 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84 r2 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance vacating North Olmsted Court located in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Bierman moved to excuse the absence of Councilmen Saringer and SJilamosky, second <br />by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Special Council <br />Meeting at 8:20 P,M. <br />~.
