w <br />r <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AUGUST 13, 1985 <br />Present: President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, O'Grady, Saringer, <br />Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniowski, Finance Director Edward Boyle, <br />Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilmen Petrigac and Rademaker. <br />Special Council Meeting was called to order by President Boehmer at 7:45 P.M., <br />in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road. <br />Mr. Tallon, Chairman Building, Zoning and Development Committee reported: <br />1) BZD Committee met on July 25th and considered the following Building <br />Department requests, all of which meet with committee's approval: <br />a. Shell Oil Company, 25199 Lorain Road, proposal to construct <br />gas station food mart and car wash. Mr. Tallon moved Council appove said <br />proposal, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />b. St. Brendan's Church, Kenny and Brendan Lanes, proposal to <br />construct church. Mr. Tallon moved Council approve said proposal, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. <br />c. Christ the King Community, west side of Barton Road, be- <br />tween 1480 and North Olmsted corporation line, detailed development plans for <br />residential units for first phase of the community. Mr. Tallon moved Council <br />approve said proposal, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />d. Marianne Bridal Shop, 29895 Lorain Road, proposal to con- <br />struct retail strip shopping center. BZD Committee unanimously approved the <br />above stated proposal with the contingency that the light must be maintained <br />on the property in the form of directional lighting. Mr. Tallon moved Council <br />approve said proposal, subject. to above BZD Committee contingency, second by <br />Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />e. Pizza Hut, 27845 Lorain Road, proposal to construct addition <br />to the rear for refrigeration and storage. Mr. Tallon moved Council approve <br />said proposal, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />f. Halleen Chevrolet, Inc., south side of Lorain road, west of <br />27845 Lorain Road, proposal to construct a truck dealership. Approved by ARB <br />and Planning Commission and unanimously approved by BZD Committee with the <br />inclusion of and contingent upon the following: <br />(1) new set of drawings to be submitted to the Building De- <br />partment with changes including the drainage and the auxiliary <br />drainage to comply with the Engineering Department. There were <br />two sets of drainage plans - an original and also an auxiliary - <br />either of which are acceptable to the Engineering Department. <br />An auxiliary pump will back up the first pump. <br />. ...: ! <br />
