.. ~. <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JULY 6, 1989 <br />Present: President Janet Saringer, Councilwoman Bahas, Councilmen <br />Boehmer, Bohlmann, McKay, O'Grady, Tallon. <br />Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Finance Director Edward Boyle, <br />Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilman Wilamosky. <br />The Special Meeting of the Council of the City of North Olmsted was called to <br />order by President Saringer at 8:00 P.M. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 89-50 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the Fiscal <br />Year beginning January 1, 1990, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption, second by Mr. <br />O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 89-50 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-53 introduced by Councilmen Wilamosky, Bohlmann and Tallon <br />was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale <br />of $180,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of <br />improving the city's street system by acquiring and installing signals, signs <br />and other equipment and devices to direct and control the flow of vehicular and <br />pedestrian traffic. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption,. second by Mrs. Bahas, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-53 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 89-55 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. A <br />resolution accepting for recording purposes only, the Cambridge Crossings Estates <br />Subdivision in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second <br />by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 89-55 adopted. <br />Ordinance No..89-60 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $270,000 notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of providing funds to pay costs of the <br />judgment rendered against the City in Civil Action Number C82 3089 in the United <br />States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Eastern Division, and <br />losses, damages and expenses related thereto, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Tallon moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mrs. Bahas, <br />unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Bahas, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 89-60 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-61 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $100,000 notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring a motor vehicle and re- <br />lated equipment for the Department of Public Service. <br />
