MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JULY 6, 1989 Present: President Janet Saringer, Councilwoman Bahas, Councilmen Boehmer, Bohlmann, McKay, O'Grady, Tallon. Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Finance Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. Absent: Councilman Wilamosky. The Special Meeting of the Council of the City of North Olmsted was called to order by President Saringer at 8:00 P.M. LEGISLATION: Resolution No. 89-50 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the Fiscal Year beginning January 1, 1990, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 89-50 adopted. Ordinance No. 89-53 introduced by Councilmen Wilamosky, Bohlmann and Tallon was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $180,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving the city's street system by acquiring and installing signals, signs and other equipment and devices to direct and control the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption,. second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-53 adopted. Resolution No. 89-55 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. A resolution accepting for recording purposes only, the Cambridge Crossings Estates Subdivision in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 89-55 adopted. Ordinance No..89-60 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $270,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of providing funds to pay costs of the judgment rendered against the City in Civil Action Number C82 3089 in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Eastern Division, and losses, damages and expenses related thereto, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Bahas, unani- mously approved. Ordinance No. 89-60 adopted. Ordinance No. 89-61 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $100,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring a motor vehicle and re- lated equipment for the Department of Public Service.
