MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL ~~~~ OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FEBRUARY 19, 2013 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Kearney, Orlowski, Schumann and Williamson Also Present: Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Planning/Development Wenger and Director of Human Resources Farver Absent: Council Member Brossard Council Member Mahoney Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The minutes of the Council meeting of January 2, 2013 were approved as written. '"~~ The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading -Ordinance 2013- 12; First Reading -Resolutions 2013- 21, 2013-26 and 2013-27. SPECIAL LEGISLATION Resolution 2013-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President Jones. A Resolution honoring Duane K. Limpert for his years of service to the City of North Olmsted. Council President Jones made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane commended Council for presenting Limpert with this Resolution. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwornan Williamson and passed unanimously. Resolution 2013-21 adopted. Clerk of Council Gallo spoke on behalf of Council members Brossard and Mahoney.
