MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 2, 2013 <br />Present: Council President Pro-tem Brossard, Council Members Barker, Kearney, <br />Mahoney, Orlowski, Schumann and Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Clerk of Council Gallo, <br />Director of Safety/Service Thomas, Director of Planning/Development <br />Wenger, Director of Human Resources Farver <br />Absent: Director of Finance Copfer <br />Council President Pro-tem Brossard called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Councilman Mahoney nominated Angela Williamson for Council President pro-Tem for <br />the year 2013. Seeing no other nominations, roll was called. Councilwoman Williamson <br />unanimously appointed as Council President pro-Tem for the year 2013. <br />~~` Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to amend the agenda to add Resolution 2013- <br />9. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2013-9 added to the agenda. <br />Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to amend the agenda to remove the approval <br />of the December 18, 2012 Council meeting minutes. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Approval of the December 18, 2012 <br />minutes removed from the agenda. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of December 4, 2012 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading -Resolution 2012-131; First Reading -Resolution 2013- <br />1, Ordinances 2013-3, 2013-4, 2013-5 & 2013-9. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• The end of 2012 was busy for wrapping up various City projects. The windows <br />and doors at the Community Cabin have been replaced as part of NOPEC's <br />Powering Our Communities Grant. The North Olmsted Park Storm Water <br />`"" Demonstration Project was completed in December with minor grading work to <br />s~ , <br /> <br />
