<br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />~:,~ OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JULY 22,1996 <br />Present: Council President Boehmer, Council Members Limpert, Lind, Musial, <br />Nashar, O'Grady <br />Also Present: Mayor Boyle, Finance Director Burns, Acting Clerk of Council McFarland <br />Absent: Council Members McKay and Saringer <br />Council President Boehmer called the special meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olsmted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 96-103 introduced by Mr. Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting three (3) storm drainage easements located adjacent to the Ehle Ditch <br />(south of Edgepark Boulevard, crossing Blossom Boulevard) in the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 9b-103 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-104 introduced by Mr. Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting three (3) storm drainage easements required for the Georgette <br />AvenueBrendan Lane sewer improvement project in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-104 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-110 introduced by Mayor Boyle on behalf of himself and the entire <br />Council was given its second reading. An ordinance approving a new sewer service <br />agreement between the City of North Olmsted and the City of Fairview Park under which <br />a portion of the City of Fairview Park is served by the city's sanitary sewer system, <br />modifying the existing agreement, authorizing the execution of the new agreement, as <br />amended and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 96-118 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on behalf <br />of Mr. McKay. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for <br />bids for the improvements to Virginia Avenue and Summerland Avenue as detailed in the <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved <br />for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 96-118 adopted. <br />~~ <br />,~, <br />
