Many local companies, hospitals, and health care providers
participated by answering questions, displaying information, checking blood pressures and
cholesterol levels and performing glaucoma examinations. This was one of the most
successful health fairs--close to a thousand people attended. This type of activity
highlights the services provided to our community and demonstrates how the senior center
has grown from mainly a recreational activity in the 1980's. Marlene Telegedy and her
~,
staff do a good job of providing needed services to our rest eats.
