MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />FEBRUARY 6,1996 <br />Present: Council President Boehmer, Council Members Limpert, Lind, McKay, <br />Musial, Nashar, O'Grady, Saringer <br />Also Present: Mayor Boyle, Finance Director Bums, Clerk of Council Seman <br />Council President Boehmer called the meeting to order at 8:03 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag led by members of Boy Scout Troop 664. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of January 16, 1996 were approved as written. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 96-29 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert on behalf <br />of the Mayor and the entire Council. A resolution commending the achievement by Matt <br />Abahazi of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Mr. Limpert moved for suspension <br />of the rules requiring three readmgs and committee review; second by Mr. O'Grady; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; <br />motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 96-29 adopted. On behalf of her son Matt, <br />Mrs. Abahazi came forward to receive the resolution and the congratulations of Council <br />and the Administration. <br />Resolution No. 96-30 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert on behalf <br />of the Mayor and the entire Council. Matt Fehlner came forward to <br />receive the resolution and the congratulations of Council and the Administration. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Boyle: 1) The Law Director suggested that the city consider legislation requiring <br />surveillance cameras in parking lots in order to provide for the safety of residents, <br />shoppers and business owners. The Law Department is currently in the process of <br />researching the issue and preparing the legislation. <br />~. <br /> <br />
