MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCH, ~„~_ OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JUNE 15, 1999 Present: Council President Saringer, Council Members Gareau, Kaster, Limpert, Miller, Nashar, O'Grady Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Gareau, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman Absent: Council Member McKay Council President Saringer called the meeting to order at 8:07 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Mr. O'Grady moved to amend the agenda to add Ordinance 99-44 on second reading as amended and Ordinance 99-45 on third reading. The motion was seconded by Mr. Gareau and unanimously passed. President Saringer announced that the rules requiring three readings would be suspended for Ordinances 99-44 and 99-72 and Resolutions 99-69 and 99-76. The minutes of the Council meeting of May 18, 1999 were approved as written. Mr. Gareau moved to adjourn into executive session for the purpose of discussing the Chamber of Commerce litigation. The motion was seconded by Mr. Nashar and unanimously passed. Council adjourned into executive session at 8:11 p.m. Council reconvened at 8:32 p.m. President Saringer reminded the audience that Council would be on vacation the month of July. REPORTS Mayor Musial: 1) The property maintenance program has begun and so far three streets have been covered: Charles Road, Alexander Road and Georgette Avenue in Wards 2, 3 and 4. There are 15 matters to be addressed. When the building inspector determines that there is a problem, then it is turned over to Ron Tennant, the property maintenance officer, who does an in-depth review and analysis.
