PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CONSULTING FIRM <br />c~F DALTON-DALTON-NEWPORT FOR THE DESIGN OF <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO THE NORTH OLMSTED WASTEWATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT. <br />WHEREAS, the City has completed a Step 1 Facility Plan for <br />wastewater collection in the North Olmsted Facility Planning Area, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to apply for a <br />Federal grant through the Environmental Protection Agency to assist in <br />the design of wastewater treatment improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to prepare a design <br />plan, which must be prepared by an engineering firm, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council and Administration <br />to hire the services of Dalton-Dalton-Newport to prepare said design <br />plans at a cost not to exceed Four Hundred_Fifty_-six Thousand_Dollars , <br />of which Seventy-Five Percent (750) is to be reimbursed through a grant <br />from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to <br />enter into an agreement with the firm of Dalton-Dalton-Newport for the <br />preparation of design plans, a copy of which agreement is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force from an ~I~a t-er the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : r~~,~e~~ ~ f12Pa <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
