PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE BOARD OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WHEREIN <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED IS TO SERVE AS LEAD AGENCY <br />IN AN APPLICATION FOR A GRANT AMENDMENT TO PERFORM <br />A SEWER SYSTEM EVALUATION SURVEY FOR OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, <br />AND TO PERFORM OTHER NECESSARY MATTERS FOR A FEDERAL <br />GRANT UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE CLEAN WATER ACT <br />AMENDMENTS OF 1977, IN CONNECTION WITH IMPROVEMENTS <br />AND ADDITIONS TO THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND <br />SANITARY SEWERAGE FACILITIES OF OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, <br />AS PART OF THE AREA KNOWN AS THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />FACILITY PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has completed a Step 1 <br />Facility Plan for wastewater collection and treatment in the North <br />Olmsted Facility Planning Area, and <br />WHEREAS, sections of unincorporated areas in Olmsted Township, <br />Cuyahoga County tributary to and served by the municipal sewer <br />systems in the City of North Olmsted were determined to be subject <br />to possibly excessive infiltration and inflow according to the cost- <br />effectiveness analysis presented in the Facility Plan, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted is being considered as a <br />single entity for the purpose of Federal funding in connection with <br />a sewer system evaluation survey to identify sources of excessive <br />infiltration and inflow. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby directed to <br />enter into an agreement with the Board of County Commissioners to <br />perform a sewer system evaluation survey for the Olmsted Township <br />portion of the North.
