t <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8D-66 <br />BY : MRSy'~. ` PETRI:GAC <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND ESTABLISHING <br />THE COLLECTION OF REFUSE BY THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />N0. 75-25. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council to establish the policy <br />for the collection of refuse from single family residential dwellings, <br />multi-family residences, and commercial establishments, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council realizes that the volume and type of <br />refuse differs depending on type of dwellings and establishments <br />being serviced, and it is the desire of Council to establish policy <br />with respect to each. of the aforesaid categories and the service <br />rendered thereto. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That there are hereby established three distinct <br />classifications relating to the collection of refuse which shall be <br />designated as follows: <br />Single Family Residential <br />Multi-family Residential <br />Commercial. <br />SECTION 2: That the classifications as indicated in Section 1 <br />hereof s all be defined as follows: <br />A. Single Family Residential <br />All residential structures used and maintained as <br />single family residences which shall include single <br />family and two-family structures, two-story attached <br />condominium structures, as well as other structures <br />permitted to be kept and maintained in the Zoning <br />Classification designated Residence District as <br />specified in the North Olmsted Zoning Code. This <br />classification shall also include churches, schools, <br />and other similar institutions, all of which are <br />permitted in a Residence District under the North <br />Olmsted Zoning Code. <br />B. Multi-family Residential <br />All residential structures used and maintained as <br />apartment houses, boarding houses, motels, hotels, <br />and condominiums in excess of two stories, which <br />shall include all apartment structures which house <br />and maintain more than two-family units, boarding <br />houses, motels, hotels, and condominiums in excess <br />of two stories. <br />C. Commercial Establishments <br />All structures kept and maintained for the carrying <br />on of commerce either wholesale or retail, which shall <br />include all structures kept and maintained in accordance <br />with the uses permitted by the Zoning classification of <br />Local Retail, General Retail, and Limited Industry as <br />well as Office Buildings. <br />
