,+...., ?.. ? <br />oui-tte-- 21? q I <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 90- 91 <br />BY: COUNCIIIKAN LEONARD <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 16 AND 18 OF ORDINANCE <br />90-38 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RATES OF <br />COMPENSATION FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE <br />PERSONNEL." <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this council to amend Sections 16 and 18 <br />of Ordinance No. 90-38 bp eliminating from both sections any reference to <br />prior service by elected public officials counting towards time for longev- <br />ity and vacation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 90-38 which now reads: <br />"That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed in the Ordinance having completed (5) <br />years of full-time continuous service as an employee of <br />the City and/all previous continuous service as an <br />elected public official within the City shall be <br />considered full-time for the purpose of calculating <br />longevity; shall be paid an additional four (4%) of <br />their base annual base salary; thereafter until comple- <br />tion of their tenth (lOth) year of full-time continuous <br />service after which such employee shall receive five <br />(5%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until <br />completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time <br />continuous service, such employee shall receive six <br />(6%) percent of their base annual salary until after <br />the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full- <br />time continuous service, and during each year of full- <br />time service thereafter, they shall receive seven <br />percent (7%) of their base annual salary as longevity <br />increments." <br />Be and the same is hereby amended and as amended sha11 read as fol- <br />lows: <br />"That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed in the Ordinance having completed (5) <br />years of full-time continuous service as an emplopee of <br />the City; shall be paid an additional four (4%) of
