<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BY: Mr. Wilamosky <br />?.? <br />? <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 78-_Zr <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART OF THE BUILDING DEPARTb'IENT, SETTING FORTH <br />THE COMPLEMENT OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND <br />ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATTON TO BE PATD TO THE <br />EMPLOYEES OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND REPEALING <br />ORDINANCE N0. 77-108 ENACTED JULY 5, 1977, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has established the Organizational Chart for <br />the Building Department into a separate ordinance setting forth the <br />personnel needed, and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the compensation to be <br />paid to the employees of the Building Department, and <br />WHEREAS, the establishing of the Organizational Chart together <br />with the salaries to be paid will assist the Director of Finance in <br />paying the remuneration established to the employees of the Building <br />Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLD4STED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Complement of the Building Department is <br />hereby esta lished and set forth as follows: <br />Building Commissioner <br />Chief Inspector <br />Building Inspectors (3) <br />Sewer & Plumbing Inspectors <br />Electrical Inspector (part-time) <br />Heating & Ventilating Inspector <br />Architectural Consultant (Contract) <br />Secretary to Building Commissioner <br />C1erk <br />Clerk (part-time) <br />Inspectors (part-time as needed) <br />SECTION 2: That retroactive to January 1, 1978, the remuneration <br />to be pai t? o employees of the Building Department shall be as follotas: <br />Building Commissioner <br />Chief Inspector <br />Building Inspectors <br />Sewer & Plumbing Inspectors <br />Electrical Inspector <br />(part-time) <br />Heating & Ventilating Inspector <br />Architectural Consultant <br />Sewer & Plumbing Inspector <br />(part-time) <br />which salaries shall be payable <br />$12,000.00 <br />$ 9,000.00 <br />$ 8,000.00 <br />$ 8,000.00 <br />$ 4,000.00 <br />$ 8,000.00 <br />Up to <br />to <br />to <br />to <br />to <br />to <br />to <br />$21,118.00 <br />$16,148.00 <br />$15,076.00 <br />$15,076.00 <br />$ 8,075.00 <br />$15,076.00 <br />$ 8,000.00 <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />$ 4.40 to $ 6.87 Per Hour <br />by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />SECTION 3: That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, <br />all full-time employees of the Building Department having completed <br />five (5) years of full-time continuous service, as employees of said <br />department, shall be paid an additional four percent (40) of their <br />base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years of <br />full-time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive <br />five percent (5%) of his base annual salary, thereafter until the <br />completion of the fifteenth (15th) year of continuous full-time service, <br />and thereafter six percent (6%) of their base annual salary until after <br />the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of continuous full-time <br />service, and during each year of full-time service thereafter they <br />shall receive seven percent (70) of their base annual salary as longevity <br />increments.
