MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> DECEMBER 1, 2015 <br /> Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Hemann, <br /> Kearney, Limpert, Schumann and Williamson <br /> Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, <br /> Director of Safety/Service Glauner, Director of Planning and <br /> Development Wenger and Director of Human Resources Farver <br /> Absent: Clerk of Council Gallo <br /> Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br /> 5200 Dover Center Road,North Olmsted, Ohio. <br /> Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance. <br /> The Council meeting minutes of November 17, 2015 were approved as written. <br /> The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br /> this evening: Second Reading—Resolution 2015-105 <br /> REPORTS <br /> Mayor Kennedy: <br /> • He swore in Firefighter Daniel Sparks as a new member of the North Olmsted <br /> Fire Dept. Firefighter Sparks thanked everyone for the opportunity to serve the <br /> city. He also introduced his family. He swore in Firefighter Daniel Coyle as <br /> Lieutenant of the North Olmsted Fire Dept. Lieutenant Coyle thanked everyone <br /> for the opportunity to serve in the new role of Lieutenant. <br /> • He thanked everyone who came to the Richard H. Knight - William Biddulph <br /> House dedication on November 21, 2015. <br /> • The North Olmsted Noel will be the final event of the 2015 Bicentennial. It will <br /> be held Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Senior Center and Park from 3 p.m. <br /> until 6 p.m. Take in the indoor/outdoor holiday market atmosphere and enjoy <br /> musical performances, food, and crafts as the community welcomes Santa and <br /> lights up the park as a kickoff to the holiday season. <br /> Director of Law Gareau: <br /> • North Olmsted received a complaint summons today from the Cuyahoga County <br /> Court of Common Pleas in the case of Fatmeh Silmi vs. The City of North <br /> Olmsted. This is a case arising from a personal injury sustained by a patron at the <br />
