MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JUNE 6, 2017 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Hemann, Kearney, Rahm, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Law Gareau, Clerk of Council Massarolo, and Director of Planning & Development Wenger Absent: Councilman Limpert Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Honorary Officials for All Scouts Day 2017 were announced. Mr. Scouting and Mrs. Scouting were presented with proclamations by Mayor Kennedy and Council President Jones. Copies of the proclamations are attached to the Minutes. The Council meeting minutes of May 16, 2017 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: First Reading — Resolution 2017-42 and Resolution 2017-45. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • No Report. Director of Law Gareau: • No Report. Director of Finance Copfer: • The March financial statements and summary were sent out on May 24 and the April one was supposed to be sent out today, but it will be sent out tomorrow. Councilman Schumann Chairman of the Building, Zoning and Development Committee: The Building, Zoning and Development Committee met on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 7:05 p.m. Present were committee members Schumann, Rahm and Williamson; Council members Brossard and Hemann; Council President Jones; Director of Planning and Development Wenger, True North Representative Rick Turner, Erma from Wendy's joined via the phone and guests.
