MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MARCH 19, 2019 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kearney, L.impert & Schumann <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human <br />Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service <br />Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and Clerk of <br />Council Massarolo <br />Absent: Council Member Williamson <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of' the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The Council meeting minutes of March 5, 2019 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading: Resolution 2019-45, Ordinance 2019-46 and Resolution <br />2019-50. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• The 2019 Earth Fair is April 28 from 1-4 p.m. at the Community Cabin. There <br />will be food trucks, face painting, games, live music and more. The event is being <br />sponsored by the Arts Commission and is promoting environmental awareness. <br />• Eggstravaganza is on April 20 from 10 a.m. to Noon at North Olmsted Park. <br />There will be an Easter egg hunt, petting zoo, DJ, inflatables and more. <br />• The new resident packets are available on-line. <br />• The Fish Fry's at Springvale are going well. They- are in the ballroom this year. <br />• North Olmsted won the eight week challenge for the healthiest city between <br />Fairview- Park, Rocky River and us. Last Saturday, I accepted the award and <br />thanked the Cleveland Clinic for putting it on and the other Mayor's for <br />participating. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />No Report. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• <br />The City sold the notes a week ago today. There were four interested participants <br />and we ultimately sold to two. The all in total with true interest costs which <br />includes costs of underwriter, bond council, municipal advisor and all the fees <br />
