MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED OCTOBER 15, 2019 Present: Council President Jones. Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert, Schumann & Williamson Also Present: Director of Finance Copfer. Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau; Director of Safety & Service Glauner. Director of Planning & Development Lieber and Clerk of Council Massarolo .Absent: It-'[avor Kennedti Council President Jones called the rnecting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. 5200 Dover Center Road. North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Council meeting minutes of October I , 2019 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this eveninru: Second Reading: Resolution 2019-87. Council President .Zones swore in firefighter Jacob Samsel on behalf of the Mayor. Mr. Samsel thanked his tamily and girlfriend for coming. He thanked Chief Schepp and the City for the opportunity and said he looked forward to working with all of the guys. Chief Schepp thanked Council and the .Administration for the support. Ile said when they interviewed Jake it was vcry evident the City would want hire. ` I he Chief welcomed him and his family to the North Olmsted fire Department Family. A copy of the oath is attached to the minutes. REPORTS N4ayor Kennedy: • No Report. Director of Law Gareau: i No Report. Director of Finance Copfer: • The City received the Ohio Auditor of' State Award with Distinguish. It was presented for excellence in financial reporting related to the Comprehensive Financial Report and compliance with applicable laws.
